Aware of and concerned by the fact that our aging population will grow from 12% to more than 20% by 2030, IIHS addresses the challenge via programs aligned with our mission to deepen and humanize inter-generational communication.

- Offer ongoing one-day and half-day programs created and facilitated by interdisciplinary practitioners:
- Hospice workers
- Psychotherapists
- Neuropsychologists
- Care providers
- Other experts on aging
- Combine personal and didactic presentation in an interactive format to cover health concerns, memory loss, caregiving, community support services, spirituality, end-of-life, and other issues.
- Meet California's continuing education unit requirements on aging for:
- Marriage and family therapists
- Licensed clinical social workers
- Licensed psychologists
